It is worth mentioning that Sankeshu is the only Chinese company that ranks among the top 20 global decorative coatings and ranks 13th with US$755.7 million. From the perspective of market share, global architectural coatings are still relatively scattered, and there is still a large room for integration. Last year, Nippon Paint completed the acquisition of Dulux Group, a well-known Australian architectural coating manufacturer, for approximately US$2.729 billion. In addition, Nippon also acquired Betek Group, Turkey's largest paint manufacturer, which is a top company with approximately 25% of the Turkish architectural coatings market. With two acquisitions, Nippon Paint's architectural coatings business revenue increased significantly in 2019.

From the perspective of development trends, the global architectural coatings market will continue to maintain steady growth in the future. The main driving force of the global architectural coatings comes from the Asia-Pacific region, especially China and India. In 2019, the market demand for architectural coatings in the Asia-Pacific region accounted for about 50% of the world's total, making it the largest region in the world. The rapid economic growth in Asia has promoted the recovery of the construction and old house renovation market, coupled with the demand for recoating brought about by the huge stock housing market, and thus promoted the growth of the demand for the entire Asia-Pacific architectural coatings market.

In addition, a number of well-known architectural decoration paint brands have emerged in China, such as Sankeshu, Astronergy, Garboly, Chenyang Water Paint, Bardez, Bauhinia, Dabao Paint, Meitushi, Jiu Nuo, Fuster, Zhanchen, etc., among them: Three Trees, Asia Chuangneng, Jiabaoli architectural coatings business production and sales ranks among the top three national coatings brands in China.

According to the current development status and future development trends, China's architectural decorative coatings brands will continue to grow, and it is expected that in the future, many brands will rank among the forefront of the global decorative coatings industry.
